Ahok Released, Cipinang Prison Warden: Nothing Special

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Cipinang Prison warden Andika Dwi Prasetya explained the process of the release of Basuki Tjahaja Purnama or Ahok was accomplished transparently.
“Nothing is withheld,” said Andika on Thursday, January 24.
The warden said that his side had exposed media that the administration process of the release had been set a day before.
Andika signed the legal document of the release in Cipinang Prison which was then delivered to Mako Brimob Prison Thursday morning where the former Jakarta Governor was jailed.

“The letter as a legal proof that the person [Ahok] has ended his sentence,” he added.
According to Andika, the administration process of the release is the same as others’. “All information is given,” he noted.
After the release, Andika continued, Ahok did not have to visit Cipinang Prison and directly went home.
Ahok has been freed today, January 24, at 07:00 a.m. The release was broadcasted by media that some had waited around Cipinang Prison since morning.
